DJ Whosskid is one of the UK's and Northern Ireland hottest and fast rising DeeJays. His real name is Kimmie f Ojobaro and he was born in Lagos (the entertainment capital of Africa's most populous nation, Nigeria).
Growing up as a child, DJ Whosskid discovered his love for music. He loved singing, dancing and putting words together to create rhymes. DJ Whosskid frequently listened to a wide range of records from top artistes like Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Brian McKnight, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, West Life, The Furious 5, Run-D.M.C, Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Salt & Pepa, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G (a.k.a Biggie Smalls), LL Cool J, Ice Cube, N.W.A, The Fugees, Mos Def, Scar Face, Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game…amongst others; familiarising himself in the process with many music genres such as Pop, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Afro-Beat, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, House, Reggae and Dancehall.
