DJ76deep has been known to pull some interesting if not innovative sets, with clean, simple, effective transitions reminiscent of the German favorite, Mark Spoon, the Garage stylings of David Morales, Derrick Carter, Simply Jeff or even Mark Farina. His influences and tastes are informed by rock, hip hop as well dance/techno and, for the most part, are a result of his involvement in the Midwestern party circuit as a promoter and dj.
After promoting for a number of one off dance events and club nights between stints at getting an education from Oberlin College, OH; Josh began to produce, dj, write poetry and design web sites for local artists, and bars. He has always believed in the strength of spoken word, the progression of music and the wistful nature of technology and design.
All mixeS compiled live using Two(2) old skool(2008) DENON DN-S1000s and a Numark DM1002MKII TWO CHANNEL mixer. Please enjoy the soundz at your leisure.
