DJ Denis Obst was born in Germany. Denis had an early interest in music and began experimenting with different forms such as classic rock learning the guitar when he was only seven years old after a few years Denis was introduced to electronic music at the early age of eleven. Denis instantly became fascinated with Trance and House and began listening to the top DJs of that time Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, and Tiesto buying all of their records and really analyzing each artists unique style. After two years DJ Denis decided it was time to begin DJing himself at that time he purchased a pair of Technics Sl1200s and began leaning how to mix vinyl after four years of practice Denis secured himself a residency in the German club Nachbar in Berlin. After realizing the limiting factors of being only a DJ Denis decided to start producing. He started taking lessons online from Sonic Academy learning to make his own songs with Ableton Live and eventually started using logic pro.
