Dj Hek “El Pargo” was born in 1972 in Caguas Puerto Rico & grew up in the town of Cayey. At the age of 17 he was inspired by the sounds of Freestyle, after that he was intro-duced to Latin Hip Hop & Reggaeton. Soon after, his ambition to keep mixing got pumped up by Dj Playero. At the age of 19 he started working at a clubs in Puerto Rico in the area of San Juan, Caguas, Cidra & Cayey "his home town". He also did a lot of garage parties, school parties, sweet 15’s & birth-day parties. Dj Hek moved to Massachusetts at the age of 25 and soon after started at Kikiribu Night Club in Lawrence. After Kikiribu Club he also did Latin Federations in Broadway Street, Los Piratas, Willy Topps, The Loft & more. Now he is currently working at Tony's Night Club on Park Street in Lawrence, MA. Dj Hek is a member of Lawtown Finest Dj's, Punisher Klick Dj’s.
