Hailing from Galway city on the west coast of Ireland, Dave Noonan has been interested in music from a young age, playing Irish traditional music up until his teens. Dave then became interested in drums and percussion and early experiences attending raves and dance clubs led him to become bitten by the acid-house bug and taking up dj-ing. Before long Dave was spinning records in Galway clubs such as the GPO, Cuba and Nectar at the Black Box. I-DJ magazine featured an article on Dave as runner up in their dj-mix competition. Dave went on to hold a show on pirate radio station Radio Friendly and also had his mixes aired on local station Galway Bay Fm. Following on from this, Dave dj-ed in various clubs in Ireland including Viva at Trinity Rooms, Electric City Dublin and DEAF.
Dave also became involved in music journalism, writing for Resident Advisor for a couple of years, writing weekly music reviews and interviewing techno dj's like Ben Sims and Umek.
