Born in Las Vegas and brought up on a heady mix of punk rock, Adultnapper is the dark, shadowy and rhythmically dark alter ego of mild mannered Francis Harris.
Releasing a string of highly sought after EP’s and singles, notably on huge powerhouse labels such as Get Physical, Bpitch Control, Peppermint Jam and Poker Flat, Adultnapper has won over the souls and feet of clubbers and dance music fans worldwide with an introspective, thoughtful and shape-shifting sound, that focuses on the structure of songwriting mixed with micro-rythyms, thick basslines and assertive percussive blasts. He launched Ransom Note in 2007, a label and vehicle to tell the tales of his shadowy, anti-hero moniker – but for DT this week, he serves up an introverted, personal and silky-smooth journey through some of the best and most musically tinged dance music currently feeding him at present.
