Andrew Bayer's sound is far from classifiable, rolling and meshing hip-hop, swirling techno, crisp leftfield electronica, wonky beats and more into his progressive yet deep take on dancefloor sounds. He’s one of the most experimental artists on Anjunabeats, and has drawn in comparisons from everywhere, from Flying Lotus and Boards of Canada, and offering a refreshing, experimental and deeply musical twist on progressive dance music. To solidify this reputation it’s also worth taking note that he studied at the famed Berklee College of Music, with an emphasis on avant-garde theory and advanced sound composition techniques.
Recently releasing his album 'It's Artificial' on Anjunabeats - a glistening, beautiful and arresting album that focuses on the brain as well as the feet, mixing dancefloor sensibilities with musicality, depth and thought provoking timbres - we’re proud to invite this new, eclectic and unclassifiable artist to the DT Podcast fold.
