Make the perfect mix for the premiere of Europe’s biggest dance party: UMF Poland!

Are you a European-based DJ ready to lift your music to the next level? Then here’s your chance to join the celebrity throng at the UMF Poland during its European debut at the Hippodrome in Warsaw, Poland on July 13th and 14th. All you have to do is submit a 30-minute set via Mixcloud to the UMF Poland 2012 DJ Contest.

The winning European DJ will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play a DJ set in Warsaw at UMF Poland with return flights, accomodation and a VIP/artist festival pass included in the prize package. This is an amazing chance to take the stage at a global meeting of clubbing fans from around the world.

July is just around the corner and so is the contest deadline of July 2, 2012. Power up your decks, plug into your creativity and upload your mix. See you in Warsaw!

How to Enter:

Try to impress us with a set that best reflects your personal, unique sound. We're not after a specific style.

• Deadline: Monday 2nd July
• Competition open to Europe only.
• Upload a mix of no more than 30 minutes on Mixcloud
• Title the mix UMF Poland 2012 DJ Contest - your_name
• Tag it with UMF Poland 2012. If you fail to tag it correctly, your entry may be missed
• Include the UMF Poland artwork provided here
• Add your tracklist and also include it in the description
• Spread it around and play it to your friends and fans to collect ‘hearts’ for your uploaded set, but don’t go spamming unknown people for this!

Judging:

• The top 40 most favorited mixes that are uploaded on Mixcloud and tagged with ‘UMF Poland 2012’ will get shortlisted.
• Mixes must gain over 100 plays to be qualified in the top 40.
• Entrants will be encouraged to show their ability to promote themselves by the tools available through Mixcloud and other social media platforms.
• UMF Poland will review each of these 40 mixes and select the grand winner that will perform at the first edition of UMF Poland.
• The final jury decision is made by UMF Poland representatives.
• Winner will be announced early July

By entering this competition you acknowledge your availability on 13 and 14 July 2012, to perform a 30-minute set at UMF Poland.
The competition is open to European participants only.
Failure to use the correct tags, title, and artwork could see your mix disqualified!
We will not tolerate spammy behavior on the Mixcloud platform.
Do not send your set directly to UMF Poland!
Define and create your very own style.
Take your time and bear in mind: early entries will not be given priority.
No legal recourse. The judges' decisions are final.
There is no cash alternative and the prizes are non-transferable.
