With over 150,000 music enthusiasts from 71 countries expected to attend, and nearly 1,400,000 attendees throughout the years, Ultra Music Festival is considered the pioneer of a cultural movement.

Featuring more than 400 of the hottest DJs, bands, and producers spread out over 3 days and 24 stages of music, Ultra Music Festival 2012 will be the largest, most impressive edition to date. This year's festival sees an enormous line-up descend on Miami, including Tiesto, Kraftwerk Live, Justice Live, Avicii, David Guetta, and Armin Van Buuren.

In addition, YOU could be there courtesy of headphone specialists, AERIAL7. One lucky winner will win the chance to play a 60 minute set at the festival with return flights, accommodation, and a three-day pass all thrown in for good measure.

If that wasn’t enough, the winning DJ will also win a pair of AERIAL7 A-list series headphones (worth $400), a stash of Ultra Music Festival official merchandise AND have their winning mix broadcast live on UMF Radio!

How to Enter:

The eclectic line-up at Ultra Music Festival covers everything from house to techno, dubstep to hip hop. Your mix should reflect the style of music you prefer to play and should be targeted to a large audience.

• Upload a mix of no more than 30 minutes to Mixcloud
• Title the mix ‘Ultra Music Festival & AERIAL7 DJ Competition’
• Tag your mix ‘Ultra Music Festival & AERIAL7 DJ Competition’. If you fail to tag it correctly, your mix may be missed
• Include the competition cover-art, found here

Judging:

• Entrants will be judged on factors including (but not limited to) number of plays, favorites, positive feedback, tune selection, originality and technical ability
• Mixes must gain over 200 plays be considered for the shortlist. We are looking for DJs who show commitment and are able to use the tools available on Mixcloud and across the web to promote themselves effectively
• The final decision will be made by Ultra Music Festival, AERIAL7 and Mixcloud

Terms & Conditions

We will not tolerate spammy behavior on the Mixcloud platform. Do NOT post dozens of comments asking people to listen to your entry if you've never bothered to engage with them or their Cloudcasts. Do NOT favorite dozens of other entries that you haven't bothered listening to, just to get their attention. If we spot this behavior you will not win this competition.

Prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative. Winner may be required to play at events before or after the festival for promotional purposes. The final decision lies with Ultra Music Festival, AERIAL7 & Mixcloud and there will only be one winner. AERIAL7 will provide travel & accommodation for the winner around the dates of 23-25 March 2012 up to a maximum of $1,000. AERIAL7 will only pay for the winner of the competition. AERIAL7 reserve the right to withdraw this competition at any time. Competition closes 29th February 2012. Entrants must be 18 or over.
