The Electric Mixtape Competition

All of the stems from Life is Moving are being released under a Creative Commons license for the producer community to download, disseminate and remix. But that’s just the first step...
Now the Mixcloud community is welcomed to download the finished remixes for free from The Electric Sound Company to include in their mixtape.
To enter the competition simply you simply need to include any remix or original track from the 'Life is Moving' project in your Cloudcast and follow the instructions below.
Prizes
Each winner will receive...
- An exciting package of goodies from DC shoes
- A test pressing of the 'Life is Moving' LP and a limited edition signed copy of 'The Terrorist' single on vinyl.
- A guest slot on both Radio Vah-Deem and Laidback Radio
- A Mixcloud Varsity Jacket from House of Billiam
- The opportunity to release a mix within a Limited edition box set for 'Life is Moving' on Organically Grown Sounds, later this year.
Instructions
- Use at least one track or a remix of a track from the Electric album in your Cloudcast
- Upload your mixtape to Mixcloud and tag it "The Electric Mixtape""
- Use the artwork from the album, which you can download here
- Share your Cloudcast with your friends, fans, family and pets.
- Your entry needs to include a full track list to be considered.
Judging
- DJ Vadim and the Laidback team will be on hand to pick out the top Cloudcasters that enter, based on their style, selection, technique and creativity.
- You'll need to have at least 100 plays to bent their ears, so get promoting your mixtape!
Terms and Conditions
No purchase is necessary to enter this competition. Prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative. The final decision lies with OGS.
