RAM100 Mix Competition

Ram Records has reached it's 100th release! By now most of you will be aware that one of the drum & bass scene’s longest serving, and most respected labels has reached their diamond jubilee. However, retirement is the last thing on their minds at Ram HQ. Instead they have compiled an incredible celebratory LP containing 14 massive tracks set to be released digitally alongside the RAMM100 vinyl EP.
To celebrate RAM100, mix your favourite Ram Records tunes into a special blend that you think best sums up the label from its 100 releases, and you could win a massive prize package from Ram Records and a set on D&BTV! (see below for details)
How to participate:
The RAMM100 digital LP collection is the latest addition to that tradition, featuring fresh tracks and VIPs alongside some of the label’s most sought after dubplates. This is a must for fans who want to listen, and DJs who want to smash these tracks out in the dance just like Andy C does!
To celebrate, Andy C and the Ram crew are asking you to dig through the 100 deep Ram back catalogue to pull together a mix to celebrate the release
How to enter and vote:
Submit DJ Mix to Mixcloud.com with the following requirements:
- Title your DJ Mix “RAM100 Mix Competition @RAMrecordsltd”
- DJ Mix must be 30 minutes long
- The entire DJ Mix must only use tracks, remixes and stems from the Ram Records Back Catalogue only All tracks in the DJ Mix must be properly credited via Mixcloud’s tracklisting
- Include the competition cover art - click here to download
- The File for the DJ Mix must be mp3 format and under 100MB
- DJ Mix must be tagged with “RAM100”
Judging and winner announcement:
The deadline for submissions will be Friday August 5th, from then entries will be judged by a panel from Ram Records and Drum&BassArena on factors including (but not limited to):
- Positive feedback
- Creativity
- Originality
- Technical Ability
Prizes
The Ram & DnBA teams will announce the grand prize selection the week commencing Monday August 8th, for the winners to receive:
- One term's membership to RAM's promo subscription service (10 promos straight to your door)
- Guestlist for winner + guest to remaining RAM events at Fabric for 2011.
- 10 previous releases of winners choice (stock permitting).
- Winning mix on RAM/D&BA website home page.
- RAMM100 Limited Edition T Shirt & Poster.
- A set on D&BTV Live
