Not only is B’ESTFEST SUMMER CAMP shaping up to be one of the best festival holidays, with 3 days of music an entertainment on a beautiful green field next to a willowy lake, now there is the chance to win a DJ set at the event!

Teaming up with Drum & Bass Arena and Mixcloud, B’ESTFEST would like to showcase new and exciting talent at the biggest music festival in Romania. The winner will play on the Dance Stage on Sunday 8th July, which will be headlined by Andy C. Other acts on the eclectic line up include Pulp, Garbage, Royksopp Stanton Warriors. Booka Shade and Dope D.O.D. All you have to do is upload a 20 min mix to Mixcloud and tag it with ‘Bestfest DJ Comp’. The winner will be flown to Bucharest to enjoy the festival for 2 days with accommodation and the finale being their 60 min set. B’ESTFEST SUMMER CAMP is taking place from 6th – 8th July at B’ESTFEST Park, Tunari, Romania.

How to Enter:

Romanian electronic music fans love their bass beats, dub step and drum & bass which made teaming up with Drum & Bass Area the perfect choice. Your mix should fit with these genres of music and reflect the tone of an opening set, getting the crowd vibed up and dancing, ready for the headline acts. Your mix should also be well structured and show variation and mixing technique and ability.

Judging:

• Entrants will be judged on factors including (but not limited to) the number of plays, favourites, positive feedback, track selection, originality and technical ability.
• Mixes must gain over 50 plays to be considered for the shortlist.
• Entrants will be encouraged to show their ability to promote themselves by the tools available through Mixcloud and other social media platforms.
• The B’ESTFEST team will assess your mixes and choose the top 10.
• The final winner will be chosen by Drum & Bass Arena
• Winner will be announced w/c 25th June 2012

Terms & Conditions

We will not tolerate spammy behavior on the Mixcloud platform. Do NOT post dozens of comments asking people to listen to your entry if you've never bothered to engage with them or their Cloudcasts. Do NOT favorite dozens of other entries that you haven't bothered listening to, just to get their attention. If we spot any of this behavior your entry to the competition will be VOID.

Once the winner has been chosen they will be contacted by a member of the B’ESTFEST team to arrange travel and accommodation. -The Winner must be able to travel from one of the following cities; London Luton, Paris, Dortmund, Bologna, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Brussels, Eindhoven.

The final decision lies with B’ESTFEST, Drum & Bass Arena and Mixcloud.
