Ever wanted to make it as a professional DJ?
burn studios are once again looking to give up-and-coming DJs the tools, the knowledge and the contacts necessary to take their skills to the world stage.
By entering burn studios residency, selected DJs will have the chance to rub shoulders with ‘the good and the greats’ at the International Music Summit, partake in workshops run by the likes of Fatboy Slim, Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, Maceo Plex, Steve Lawler and Solomun at the burn studios residency bootcamp, and experience the best of Ibiza’s nightlife.
Finally, at the end of the burn studios residency bootcamp, three DJs will be awarded summer-long residencies at the most prestigious clubs in Ibiza.

Contest Stages:
Stage 1.
Submit a 15:00 to 20:00 minute mix via Mixcloud. Please make sure it is exactly within this range; we can’t accept longer or shorter mixes. Judges will then select the top 5 submissions per country. Depending on your country, the shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend a “Mix-Off” event held locally.
Stage 2.
The best DJ at each local “Mix-Off” will be flown to Ibiza where they will stay for 13 nights (May 20th - June 2nd). In Ibiza, the DJs will attend the International Music Summit and the burn studios residency bootcamp which will be led by artists including Maceo Plex, Steve Lawler and Solomun.
Stage 3.
burn studios residency. At the completion of bootcamp, three DJs will be awarded a season residency at Ibiza’s best clubs.
How to Enter:
Select your country from the drop down to generate the tag required. If you don't live in one of our participating countries, don't worry. Simply select 'WILDCARD' in the drop down menu.
Judging:
- Entrants will be judged on technical ability, originality and style.
- The panel of judges will be made up of producers, professional DJs, promotors, club owners and industry leaders.
- The three DJs awarded residencies will play in Ibiza’s most prestigious clubs and open for the most respected names in electronic music... Your submissions need to impress!

We will not tolerate spammy behavior on the Mixcloud platform. Please do not post dozens of comments asking people to listen to your entry if you haven't listened to other people's entries. Please refrain from favoriting dozens of other entries to gain attention.
