Ultra Music Festival & AERIAL7 DJ Competition

With over 150,000 music enthusiasts from 71 countries expected to attend, and nearly 1,400,000 attendees throughout the years, Ultra Music Festival is considered the pioneer of a cultural movement.

Featuring more than 400 of the hottest DJs, bands, and producers spread out over 3 days and 24 stages of music, Ultra Music Festival 2012 will be the largest, most impressive edition to date. This year's festival sees an enormous line-up descend on Miami, including Tiesto, Kraftwerk Live, Justice Live, Avicii, David Guetta, and Armin Van Buuren.

In addition, YOU could be there courtesy of headphone specialists, AERIAL7. One lucky winner will win the chance to play a 60 minute set at the festival with return flights, accommodation, and a three-day pass all thrown in for good measure.

Bench Igloofest Competition

Set in the sub-zero centre of Old Montreal, some of the biggest stars in underground electronic music will hit Canada's dance music capital for Igloofest 2012 – one of the most exciting and unique music events in the world.

This year around 67,000 ravers will turn out in their best winter gear to listen to the likes of Sébastien Léger, Green Velvet, Tiga and Tiefschwarz against a backdrop of ice and steel.

This year YOU could be there, as Bench are offering one DJ an unforgettable experience.

One lucky winner will win the chance to play at Igloofest 2012 and Bench will cover their return flights and accommodation in Montreal.

"Attack the Block" DJ Competition, in association with BassLaced

Attack the Block is the hilarious and terrifying debut film from broadcaster and comedian, Joe Cornish (The Adam and Joe Show), and featuring a soundtrack from Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe (aka Basement Jaxx) and Steven Price.

To celebrate the film's release on Blu-ray Double Play and DVD, we've teamed up with dubstep pioneers BassLaced, in association with GetDarker and Juno DJ, for a very special DJ competition. The best DJ will play a set at 'BassLaced Gets Darker' (alongside the likes of Joker and Toddla T), and win £500 worth of DJ equipment courtesy of Juno.

"This is Sankeys" DJ Competition

The world’s No.1 club has partnered up with Mixcloud to offer budding DJs the opportunity of a lifetime to boost their careers. The “This is Sankeys” DJ Competition will see one lucky person become a resident at the club, amongst other prizes.

The best eight mixes will be shortlisted and put through to the next round which will consist of heats at Sankeys itself. More information will be emailed to successful entrants at a later date.

Barclaycard Mercury Prize Podcast Competition

The Barclaycard Mercury Prize exists solely to champion music in the UK, mainly through the 'Albums of the Year' competition, which celebrates recorded music of all genres by British or Irish artists. The twelve Albums of the Year are announced each July with the overall winner decided on the night of the Awards Show in September. The music on the album is the only thing taken into account.

A first for Mixcloud, this exciting Podcast competition gives aspiring radio presenters and hosts the opportunity to explore this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize nominees and win the chance to interview the artists behind the music.
