Well hello again. Its been a little while so here we are with another collection of delightful ditties. Mainly newer stuff but with some absolute classics thrown in for good measure.

Another recent discovery to me is Chad VanGaalen, a fantastic Canadian multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter. Top visual artist too - he makes his own excellent videos as well.
Also featured are brand new tunes from Cate Le Bon, The Superimposers, French wonders Fránçois & the Atlas Mountains and Belgian/Australian pop sensation Gotye.
With a bunch of other classic material, well-known and not so well-known, this is hopefully a collection of tunes which will herald in the Spring with sounds fresh and new, familiar and warmly embracing...

I particularly love Girl From Vernon Mountain. I'd never heard of Billy before.

His story (from what I've read of the blog) is a salutary one for any musician. I wonder if he ever got a royalty cheque from Rev Ola. Somehow, I doubt it...
