Clayton & Fulcrum have been creating funky and soulful music since 2002.Using a combination of live instrumentation, synths, and samples, they give you music for your soul, as well as your backside.

C&F's first release was in the summer of 2003 with their song Soul Fan on OM Records' United Nations of Future Music compilation.Just last year it was released on their OM Hip Hop Soul compilation.The song also won Diesel U:Music's award for best dance song, and they opened for De La Soul at the awards show.

They established their remixing talent with subsequent remixes of Dubtribe Soundsystem's Rhythm In Your Mind, Geriba's Gauranteed, Wes!'s Make With The Names, and All Good Funk Alliance's Sock It To Ya!.Dave Clayton created the Natural Selection Music label for self-release of their debut album The Soul Purpose, and sophomore effort, Songs From The Soul City.
