As we're getting all Hip-hop again, here's the first Chrome Kids mix from back in 2008. This was recorded for Rob Da Bank & Friends on BBC Radio 1 and consists of all Welsh Hip-hop (in that the producer, rappers or in one case beatboxer is Welsh by birth or residence). It's both a slice of our history but also something of a marker for a fantastic but intimate scene which was the springboard for many of acts that will be familiar to regular Chrome Kids blog readers.
This is the original mix which also includes 'Skullcrackology' by Mudmowth and P.L.O. The BBC censors decided that even the Radio friendly edit was too offensive to broadcast and it was faded out of the version that went out on the airwaves.
