Donald MacLeod's interest in music began in earnest in 1979 when he began his music career playing guitar for First Priority, a band signed to MCA Records and who supported acts such as The Clash and Public Image Limited. In 1986, Donald co-founded The Crows, with whom he supported The Dammed and The Mission.
