This mixtape was first thought as a presentation / promo mix for my upcoming EP "Curandero EP" on Caballito netlabel. The purpose was to mix my EP tracks with the caballito netlabel catalogue (1 year, 12 releases) and some unfinished, unreleased and live stuff. At the time I was selecting tracks for this mixtape. I was playing a few gigs as a dj and I wanted to add some magic to my sets by superposing traditional folkloric (and often shamanic) music to the tropical / global bass tracks I was playing. The result was pretty interesting and so I decided to add these new mashups to the mixtape I was working on. And here's the result! 101 minutes of highly psychedelic, sweaty, global, soulful, magic music...
