DJ Mix by James Bubblefunk - A selection of some of my favorite Funk & Soul, Rare Groove Classics that I've collected over the years.

I wanted this DJ mix to sum up an ocean drive along the coast in California in an open top convertible, somewhere such as San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, San Jose, Santa Monica or San Diego.

You'll be able to hear some of the Vinyl crackling as many of these have been mastered from my old vinyl collections. Some are re-issues such as 'I believe in Miracles' & Steely Dan's 'Do It Again'.

Originally recorded at my DJ residency at The State Tower, Lebua, Bangkok, Thailand in early 2011. My view from the DJ booth was across the entire city on the 64th floor. Mixed on two Pioneer CDJs and the volume and samples were mastered in Ableton Live 8.
