Nokken has been involved in many aspects of Electronic Dance Music over the years. He began DJing at the age of 12 playing a range of different styles and slowly learnt the art of mixing. After a couple of years he started to promote nights in warehouses in South Africa. With a deep passion for electronic music he decided to move to London to further the knowledge of the sound he loved.

He started to release his music in 2011 with his first release on Eminor Binary, a sub label of the renowned underground label Eminor based in Hamburg.

He also appears on other labels such as Der Traegerlose Hut, Retrometro, Wunderkammer,Factor Analysis and Unt Records. In 2012 he has a number of EP'S on the way including his first album due for release on Lethal Dose Recordings plus some remixes for Bugs n' Stuff and Stoffwechsel Records.

Nokken’s sets are dark, deep and body shaking minimal techno, with elements of dub and breaks.
