KARA BOGA (Basspenetrators) Outlook Festival 2012 Competition Entry

Pushing controllerism forward is the intention of this mix: making use of loops/samples, effects, cue-points for changing track-structure + live remixing (cuepoint-juggling) and 4 decks. So the mix contains various elements of controllerism development of the past few Years..!
I've tried to put the Timestamps and labels as good as possible in order to make clear what's going on..

The Tracklist features mainly hard, filthy Dubstep Tunes and dares the balancing act between some Tracks that are familiar/popular and others that are unfamiliar in the broadest sense.

I hope you have that much fun listening, like I had when mixing!

I don't understand why there is so much hate going around... we djs try very hard to promote our music, and it's rewarding to know when our work is appreciated. one of the qualities this competition is looking for is a dj's ability to promote their music, so don't hate on basspenetrators when he is doing well.

I got a similar comment from LFM earlier saying "how can this (my mix) get over 2000 plays?" I think everyone should just take a step back chill and enjoy the damn music!

to be honest I myself at the beginning of the competition was wondering and thought that some of the competitors are cheating, when I saw how much plays/comments/favs they had and I thought about posting something similar to that, what you have posted.. (nightjar,robinhype&jayzenn for example) But after starting promoting my mix throughout any web-service I could think of I understood that it was possible to get that much listeners. p.s. before this competition I was only active on soundcloud and didn't have any Follower on mixcloud and I also didn't know how to use the functions of mixcloud, for example the log in via facebook. so I told everyone just to log in here and not via fb. some people - as you can see - logged in via facebook, but the negative side of this is, that everything they've listened to is posted simultaneously on fb.

If that's true than I'm sorry but it is just a little suspicious to ask why you just didn't make them favourite through Facebook instead of making new accounts.

Hey Sam and Riccardo,
I'm doing the hell of a Job to get all my friends to support me and spread the Mix throughout the web. One of these things (and the first thing I did) is to get themselves to sign up in mixcloud and klick on the red heart symbol.
That's a pretty crazy (and sometimes really really annoying) job and eats nearly all of my time. When it comes to say sorry, I should say sorry to those people I've spammed within the last days, but I didn't make any single one fake account. It's a shame to read such a thing here!
