In anticipation of a scorching summer here I present my latest mix. Perhaps an unwise attempt to cram as many of the global styles of music I am feeling just now into one mega-mix:
We kick off with some trippy Arabesque, moving quickly through Trenchtown and over to Argentina where we linger with the electronic cumbia of ZZK Records. More Latino dancehall follows, then a quick trip to the Balkan bassment before some Notting Hill skank beckons. Bit of classic hip-hop and funk for the old-timers before a mini mashup of afro-latin-ragga breaks that leads into Zomby's monster Tarantula, heralding deeper territory, but not before a detour into some very fresh tropical bass. We wind things up with a bit of uk funky style and futuristic garage, finishing with the title track. Enjoy.
