For our fifteenth guestmix, we proudly and gratefully present Toronto based John Roman. His recent mixtape for the newly designed and insanely impressive Truants blog blew my mind – and this is no different. With his work already supported by the likes of Carte Blanche, Congorock, Nadastrom, Brodinski, Designer Drugs and Laidback Luke, the 21 year old Canadian is on a really wonderful path right now. To use his own words ”I make a pretty wide-range of music: electro, techno, tribal, house, but I think all my tracks share a few commonalities: rhythm, interesting use of samples and deep bass.”
