Leeds based James Winter has kindly provided us with our seventh guestmix. The 24 year old has been DJ’ing for around 18 months and his fervent passion for all things house and techno is clearly visible in his previous monthly mixes. Confessing that he spends “all day everyday looking for new tunes”, it’s no surprise that Winter’s guestmix is crammed with unknown treasures and the most recent house bullets. His upbeat blend of deep-house and techno is building a well-respected reputation for Winter, who’s beginning to consistently gig around Leeds’ top venues. When speaking on influences, Winter regards the likes of Mendo, Ramon Tapia, Butch and Nic Fanciulli as the main players, and this attitude shines through in his expertly constructed guestmix which features the likes of Acumen, DJ PP and Puzique.
