Joaquim Giannotti is a 22 years old dj and producer from Genoa, now based in Milan. Graduated student of philosophy and cognitive science, since 2011 he creates music under the name of Samsara Means War. Taking inspirations from the tension among Nature and contemporary society, the need of meaning in a relativized world and the lack of a persistent truth, the project explores and create soundscapes and patterns with the aim to propose temporary and contingent glimpse of Beauty and sense, breaking down for a moment the every-day mechanical life. His "Solitude EP" (September 2012) is a perfect synthesis of future garage & post-dubstep things with a personal touch. In this exclusive mix he uses a critical-intelligent approach to non-radio friendly genres, unveiling hidden substances and essences and, at the same time, bringing a danceable spirit to the mix.
