This week we have a brilliant wide ranging mix from the curator of hotflush recordings - scuba. Hotflush was one of the original dubstep labels and was responsible for some of the key releases during the genre's early days.
Scuba (real name paul rose) took the well trod path from london to berlin a few years back, a move which influenced the sound of his acclaimed debut mutual antipathy (keep an eye out for the new scuba album 'triangulation' arriving at the end of march) and his house/techno alter ego scb. The city also hosts his phenominally succesful sub:stance night at the home of techno berghain where alongside paul fowler he has been preaching from the pulbit of bass since 2008. The night is set to release its first mix cd 'sub:stance 01' on ostgut ton next week - get the full info here.
