Alex Whitcombe has been a Dj, producer and remixer since the early 90's. In 1995 Alex set up Steel Fish Records and began to record in the studio as Qattara. Things happened very quickly including a label deal with EMI, Dj'ing all over the world and remixing the likes of Donna Summer, Jam & Spoon and Paul Van Dyk. Alex's love and passion for creating new sounds and new music is what keeps his sound fresh after all these years. 17 years later Steel Fish Records is still at the forefront of the UK dance music scene creating some of the best Progressive House, Techno and Tech House with support from some of the world's leading Dj's.
