This is my humble tribute to the people of Japan. I traveled to Tokyo and Kyoto in 2006 and the memories from that trip are still vibrant. Everyone was kind, hospitable and very eager to communicate despite their little knowledge of English. The culture is otherworldy and the music scene is amazing, from the record shops to the jazz clubs, they truly set the standard worldwide. I believe the Japanese people will only come out stronger from this disastrous chain of events that has hit them.
