Barcelona based but with an international outlook, TIU is a platform that has been designed to support the fertile local music community, whilst showcasing an eclectic array of artists from the international underground.

TIU was established by Neill Higgins in 2010 and is now a respected contributor to Barcelona’s live scene, hosting regular events in venues ranging from the obvious to the inspired. With our emphasis on pushing the attendees music experience, we have booked a diversity of artists and bands, concentrating on emerging talent, and spotting bands about to break on the home and international scenes.

Shows to date have included rising international acts of the calibre of Future Islands, Com Truise, Porcelain Raft and The Black Tambourines, and top local talent such as Stand Up Against Heart Crime, Univers, Boreals and Dulce Pájara de Juventud.
