Sometimes it's best to let the records do the "talking".
Dj Rasta Mike (the Lone Star Turntablist), was born L.M. Smith in San Antonio, Texas, 1978. Starting his musical journey at age three, Smith first studied the piano followed by drums, finally settling his hands on an old pair of record players in the mid 90s. Being dubbed with the nickname "Rasta" Mike (for unknown reasons), Smith established himself as a funky turntable DJ for social events and parties at the local universities. Having pulled the great Whodini disappearing act, it has been rumored that Smith now spends a great deal of time on the turntables deep within his studio conjuring up melodious musical mashups with ridiculous break beats.
