Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize-winning economist and New York Times columnist, talks with Richard Eskow about his new book "End This Depression Now!" Krugman argues that the solutions to high unemployment and slow growth are clear--relief for homeowners and state governments, infrastructure spending and more aggressive action by the Fed--the political means to implement these solutions are not. Krugman describes his frustration that policymakers have not learned the right lessons from the financial crisis of 2008, but counsels like-minded Americans, many of whom continue to suffer under the weight of the recession, not to give up the fight.
