Teishi-1 is a Dublin based producer/dj first started producing under the name Pad-1. Inspired by acts on Warp records such as Autechre, Aphex Twin he began writing minimal left field electronic music a collection of these tracks is available on the Irish based !Kaboogie label as the 22 e.p for free download. Midnight from the 22 e.p featured on the 2008 D.E.A.F (Dublin Electronic Arts Festival) promo cd. After getting deep into the sounds of Grime, Dupstep and 2 Step he changed his name to Teishi-1 and started producing tracks influenced by these exciting new sounds from the UK as well as his love of Old School Rave, Breakbeat and many other forms of electronic music. His debut e.p Jekyll was released on Intellegenix in November 2009. His third e.p Aka Beat was released on Intellegenix in April 2010.

Teishi-1 will be dropping 2 new e.p's in 2011 another on Toronto's Intellegenix and the other on Dublin's First/Second label.
