As a contributor to the esteemed musicologist publication Wax Poetics magazine, Okayplayer.com, and former staff writer/ columnist for XLR8R magazine, the Washington, D.C. native has interviewed the likes of Erykah Badu, Chris Rock, and the late Bernie Mac and has written bios for Grammy-winning songwriters, Olympic gold medalists, and WNBA pro athletes. He has also composed stories on the unsung, the underrated, the unknown, and the ubiquitous: Michael Jackson, J*Davey, Ras G, King, Bobbi Humphrey, Muhsinah, and Rasa. Handpicked by legendary black music journalist David Nathan as the newest member of the SoulMusic.Com Records team, Superbizze has composed liner notes for a wide array of classic soul and R&B album reissues. In addition, Superbizzee regularly composes liner notes for UK-based reissue label Big Break Records (BBR).
