Soul Damn Funky first started life as a weekly club event in Brighton and was the only party in town specialising in deep, soulful house, U.S garage and everything in-between.
Following the success of Soul Damn Funky's 2010 events the following year they took to the airwaves of Brighton on the city’s only dance music radio station Code South.
After a summer on Code South in 2011 Soul Damn Funky returned to the station in March 2012, this time with a new Saturday morning slot from 10 till 12.
April 2012 and its time to resurrect those infamous parties, H Bar in Hove became the new home for Brighton's only soulful house event hosting headliners: Paul Trouble Anderson, Sarah Favouritizm and Victor Simonelli, on the subject of Victor in May SDF joined forces with him and released an album on his record label Bassline.
