The duo of Graham Wincott (aka Sharpshooter) and Ray Alston (aka Xplicit) started working together under the Smash Brothers moniker in late 2007. Both shared appreciation for drum and bass and a desire to not see it disappear from the scene. The first addition to their Smash Bros. mix series, Fight Music was released in June 2008. That December, they started a Thursday night drum and bass weekly at Sutra in downtown Denver called Here Comes the Drums. Since then, it has evolved into Here Comes the Bass and is renowned as Denver's top drum and bass and dubstep club night, and has featured over 2 dozen out of state and international acts in a span of less than 3 years. The latest installation in the Smash Brothers mix series is Smash Bros. 5: Bangin on Fools. It features tunes from the likes of Terravita, Sigma, Callide, Urban Assualt and other artists with a pension for room rattling bass.
