I started spinning records in 1996. I began with HipHop and turntablism. In '98 I started getting into Drum and Bass. Pretty much stuck with Hip Hop, DnB and old school breaks until 2009. At that time, Hip Hop and DnB had gotten really stale and "played out" to me for quite a while. I had almost lost my passion for DJing. Somehow, I stumbled upon NuFunk and NuSkoolBreaks which rekindled my fire. Since then, I've further expanded my horizons. Now I'll play pretty much anything. My only criteria is that I feel everything I play. It has to move me!
The genres I play now include Underground Hip Hop, Breakbeat, Dub-Step, DrumNBass, NuFunk, NuSkoolBreaks, CrackHouse, and Electro/Fidgit House.
2010 was a monster year for DnB. So much dope ish came out. I can't remember a year with so much quality in any one genre. I love spinning, regardless of genre, but I have to admit - I enjoy playing DnB more than anything else. I go nuts when I play it. Too bad Taiwan doesn't have many DnB heads.
