Taras 3000 is a member of the Idle Conversation community. Together with his fellows Sergey Poydo and Roman Mazurenko he runs a series of the city’s most exciting parties, in Moscow clubs from Strelka to Solyanka and Simachev Bar. What I like about Taras 3000 is that he’s not just a DJ, he used to be a leader of the funk live band Earl Grey Smokers and he knows how music works. At the Red Bull Music Academy where we met, I remember him trying all kind of equipment, recovering sounds in the studio while others were hanging out.
