When Satellite Voices asked Marty Metcalf to put together an exclusive mix for the On Air series, we knew we'd be treated to eclectic sounds from across the musical spectrum. Metcalf, after all, is the DJ and radio host behind some of the city's more engaging musical happenings. His current show on Channel 4 FM is a particular favourite - The Galactic Social beams out every Thursday night with playlists that include jazz, afro beats, rare groove, soul and hip hop.
