RossRocks started around 1971 when Bob Ross became the overnight DJ on WSAN when they started a progressive rock format. At a time when the DJ programmed their own shows, Bob was able to develop a "unique" playlist trying records that other DJ's were overlooking. He also developed a loyal fan-base. Bob left WSAN in 1978 to take a position at Bethlehem Steel. He then joined WMUH at Muhlenberg College in 1996 with ex-WSAN alum and station manager of WMUH Joe Swanson. Holding down late Friday nights for many years, Bob moved to the Friday 8PM slot where he is today. Bob is joined with Bennet Fox and Scott Legath (scotzo) who cover the time-slots and maintain the unique play-list style.
