Red Bull Thre3Style 2011

Red Bull Thre3Style is a DJ contest that promises to be a night of dance-floor mayhem. Each DJ gets 15 minute shift where they can play whatever they like, as long as they have at least three styles or genres of music in that time. It doesn't matter what genres of music are chosen so long as the DJ can make them work together.

In 2011, the ante was upped with challenges taking place in 18 different countries around the globe. Each country had a series of qualifiers and a national final to determine who the Red Bull Thre3Style champion for that country was. The eighteen champions from around the world went on to compete at the final in Vancouver, Canada in December.

The winning DJ was DJ Hedspin from Canada. Crowned the second international champion in history, he has Red Bull's official stamp of approval that he can rock the party like nobody’s business!
