Biography:

Ever since he understood what music was, it was very clear that this was going to be a big part in Pita’s life. As he was born in 1978 he grew up with the famous 80’s tunes, but one day in 1989 everything changed. A particular musicvideo on MTV (Stakker Humanoid) had a really big impact on him: this new sound was exciting, fresh and totally what he wanted to hear. And so the addiction began..
A few years later, visiting his first houseparties, he started developing an interest in mixing records. At first he started out with hardcore gabber, which was really big in The Netherlands back then. After a while he also began buying the records nowadays defined as oldschool or houseclassics. Eventually he got interested in lots of other styles, but the range became so broad he decided to focus on the harder styles which he still plays today.
