Glasgow - United Kingdom
Microrave Records was a small DIY music label based in Ayrshire, SCOTLAND.

The label was set up in October 2008 by musician and producer Voltergeist, after his previous synth band Emotiquon were invited to perform alongside Grand National at the Altitude Comedy Festival earlier that year. Upon returning, Microrave Records purchased a license from Rob Da Bank's label Sunday Best to release Grand National's "Cut By The Brakes" as a remix EP.

The label folded at the end of 2011 after being unable to recoup the costs of the license fee.

The mixes uploaded here consist of the label's popular monthly podcasts, which are made up of artist exclusive mixes, radio shows and live recordings.

Voltergeist is currently working on some exciting new material for release in 2014. In the meantime, he is releasing archive recordings on his new label Flyin' Saucepan.
