Melodic Electronic Shoe Gazing Funky Indie Techno. That's one way to describe what Medalla plays. From holding residencies in two underground clubs in Edinburgh to hosting an underground dance music radio show for 4 years in Ireland, Medalla has been playing music for a long time.
Classically trained in Piano and Percussion and having played Guitar with many bands in his teens, Medalla has always been surrounded by music. These different experiences have influenced the patchwork of styles he has played throughout his musical career, allowing him to move from Progressive Tech House, to gritty Jakin Techno, to Melodious Funky Electro and even to Downtempo and Alternative.
With gigs played all over the world from Dublin to Chile, Czech Republic to Peru and even a Podcast under his belt, Medalla is no stranger to either the Melody or the rhythm section.
As he says himself "I may lose my Mind, I may even lose my Life. But I'll never lose the Beat".
