Hi, I am Marthy du Mar and I live in the Netherlands. I just started out dj-ing and I've been going about it for almost a year now. Always wanted to do it, so finally I am pursuing this. What will become of it? I don't know, as long as it makes me happy and I can bring some smiles to the audiences, whether one or thousands. I must admit I am probably one of the senior contenders in this great contest, but hey who cares!
I composed my mix in way that I feel should bring the right vibe into place. I have always loved dance music, since my first ever cd 'Go' by Moby, back in the 90's. The way I look at it, well it's hard to explain, but it is a gutt feeling... I have started out with some 'hollow' sounding tracks, some off-beat/stop beat tracks, brought in nice tempo songs with a singing and dreamy melodies to carry the listeners with me, gradually building up the power in the selected tracks.
