Jaunuary (An Imperfect Mix)
Lethargy Presents: It seemed an appropriate title at the time, “January” is some what of a mixed bag when it comes to times of the year, bleak cold and not at all full of fun!!! or is it? In a nostalgic sense it has always conjured images of goose downs, timberland boots and cold snow streets all moving to the icy heart beat of the city. To me that has always had a grimy yet compelling vibe which sparks the intense sense of bitter reality. January is an Imperfect mix, its not over produced its not seamless but it has its place just like the month itself, I decided to leave every imperfection in even when the record skips. To me it gives it that raw and almost human feel, just like the mix tapes I used to listen to as a kid the levels where all over the place the vinyl crackled and popped but it gave it a sense of something that existed and was obtainable.
