Far Out Recordings is a UK independent record label that specialises in Brazilian music.
We work with greats such as Azymuth, Joyce, The Ipanemas, Marcos Valle, Sabrina Malheiros, Banda Black Rio and Mauricio Maestro as well as up and coming artists in Brazil and the UK, DJ / Producers Theo Parrish, Mark Pritchard, Kenny Dope and many more. One of the key figures in the development of Far Out was our dear friend, José Roberto Bertrami who sadly passed away in July 2012. Bertrami was keyboardist and composer with Azymuth and has worked closely with the label since it's beginning in 1994. This mix represents but a small fraction of his work in music that spanned a period of almost 50 years. José was truly a modern musical genius, creating his own style of composition, musical scales and exciting new sounds.
