In the early 90's I saw Aphex Twin's single "On" and I was completely blown away by it. Intelligent techno was still underground & between '93-95 it was actually the only style I was listening to. This mix contains some of my favourite Intelligent techno records from back in the day but also other styles. The mix is very different from my previous mixes & also a little bit darker... no worries though ... to lighten it up a little bit I've put some deep funk, leftffield disco, electro-funk, nu-disco, house and 50's flying saucer movie samples in it ... enjoy

yes that New York track is amazing & pretty sure they never released on 12" ... you can find it on a rare compilation called "The pulse of new york" ... underground nuyorican 80's avant garde - I even think they repressed it a couple of years ago
