I wanted to make a mix with records that are not made to be mixed together and get away with it. Blending styles like leftfield disco, singer songwriter music, new wave, avant garde, rock, 60's and make it sound like a hip hop mixtape. Bambaatta did this in the early 80's and that was the birth of hip hop... so it's all hip hop :-)
