I hope you guys will enjoy listening to this show as much as I did compiling it, whether you're chilling at home, at work or on your way to a night out. As Orsii puts it: "I didn't try to be clever or pick any ridiculously rare / unheard songs, just some good old classics ..."
It starts with Moondog's "Bird's Lament", track later made famous by Mr Scruff's "Get A Move On". Then Cymande's classic "Brothers On the Slide", Quantic's take on Blondie's "Rapture", and a bit of Frankie Beverly of Maze's fame. I also added DJ APT ONE's edit of Archie Bell's "Anytime is Right", an edit of Diana Ross put together by the OndaSonora crew, some new afro-beat by Ruth Tafebe and finishing with a Thomas Newman's new soundtrack for "The Adjustment Bureau" Alex Corbi is a DJ & Beatmaker from Brussels alex-corbi.blogspot.com "Huitlacoche" are Mexican mushrooms growing on maize Picture by CIMMYT: http://www.flickr.com/cimmytUploaded 1 year ago - Featuring tracks by Moondog, RUTH TAFEBE and the AFROROCKERZ, Cymande, Faith Evans, ALEX CORBI and more ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Show more | ![]() |
